Reading for Understanding

After reminding us that any teacher who puts a book in front of a student is a reading teacher, the authors give us a teacher-tested reading course for middle school book bag and high school students. The Rattlesnake Who Went To School

Native American child Crowboy is so frightened by the prospect of the first day of school that he changes into a rattlesnake in self-defense, at least in his imagination.
